SENDING CHECKS  Most of our clients send checks as follows:  

  • One check payable to the DMV for the total DMV fees. This check can be from either the dealer or the purchaser.

  • A second check payable to the DMV (blank) as a safeguard against a shortage.

  • A third check payable to Tag Man Title for our service fee.

 

CHECK PAYEES 

  • Service Fees For All Deals: Tag Man Title Service.

  • DMV Fees For DC Deals : DC Treasurer.

  • MVA Fees For MD Deals Done In Tag Man Office: Tag Man Title Service.

  • MVA Fees For MD Deals Done At MVA Office: Maryland Motor Vehicle Administration.

  • Fees For VA Deals: Virginia DMV.
